She knows that we can hide nothing from God. God has caught us in the very act of committing every sin. And, even in the face of that reality, all that God asks is our humble honesty and contrition.

God throws a party in heaven when we repent and come back to Him.

He invites, He tills the soil, He gives us His grace, He advocates for us, but, ultimately, we are the ones who will make the decision to repent, to forgive others, and to choose to love.

Jesus provides us with strength, when we look for comfort.

He saw and believed are the words that we have of the other disciple in today’s Gospel reading, that shed light in this moment when he believed everything that he had heard about the Messiah.
