Lord, I love you!

We all experience the loss of people dear to us and seek to fill a void in our lives.

As Jesus was set apart from the world upon His consecration, we also must live apart from the world on receiving the Sacrament of Baptism and strengthening through Confirmation.

Better to hear it from Mary and Joseph than from others about those infant boys killed because of him.

We must always be ready to see Christ shining through every person and every situation.

God works through His entire garden of imperfect children where we are today.

"And the angels said unto them, fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”  (Luke 2:10)

How could she have imagined all that her "fiat," her yes, to the angel would bring into her life through the years?

Hear the good news, reject the darkness, and accept the Light!

If you weep this Advent, do not weep to despair.

As we meditate on the Joyful mysteries, we remember to make room for Mary in our hearts so that it may become a graced place of comfort, love, and hope.

True salvation comes through turning to God as we are and asking him to open our eyes to the grace he shows us each day.

The coming brilliant joyful light will again be entering the lives of the expectant couple Mary and Joseph.

Jesus Christ, son of Israel and Son of God, remains our hope for lasting peace and eternal happiness.

The infrastructure of our lives, the roads, and the bridges need repair.

Lord help us be children of light and carry that light of Christ to all that we meet.

In the imagery of our gospel reading, sometimes the Lord comes to us in the joyful playing of pipes, sometimes in the mournful playing of dirges.

It is in silence that we can really hear God’s Word and put it into practice.

It is difficult to accept the Divine logic that “when I am weak, then I am strong.”

The angel Gabriel's message to Mary is the fulfillment of the prophecy in Zechariah – God is always coming to dwell among us so that we may all be His people!
