There is no distinction between love of God and keeping the Lord's word, doing His will--on earth as it is in heaven is not only a petition but also a self-exhortation.
Remember, even St. Paul needed Ananias to open his eyes. Likewise, we need others in the Church not only to help open our eyes but to work alongside us in awakening the eyes of faith in those who have fallen into the deep sleep of worldliness.
I believe that the reason why Antoninus is a canonized saint in the Catholic Church isn’t because he performed miracles, died a martyr, or even went to distant lands to proclaim the Gospel. He’s a saint because he followed God’s will where he was; he lived a good Christian life.
